I consider myself a professional amateur.

I love photography and understand the difference between a picture and a photograph.

I wouldn't necessarily say that a picture is worth 1,000 words. As a writer (professionally) realistically we're talking around 750. :)

I have certain goals in life and two of them are to help the homeless and the environment with specific actions in place to accomplish both.

In regards to photography:

Primarily I prefer taking shots of nature, weather related and stormchasing, but I work in the film industry and do some special effects as well so I've done a fair bit of promotional poster work and behind the scenes photography for a popular live horror theater in South Florida called "The Abyss Theatre".

At the end of the day, I just try to have fun, get better at what I do, what I love and shoot whatever captures my eye.
