I am an amateur photographer. I enjoy taking pictures and over the past seven years most of these have been of my children. However, in 2008 I began extending my photography to nature and this year with the help of photochallenge.org, I am taking pictures of things I would have never considered.

I own two Nikon cameras: a D100 and a D300. I just got a lensbaby composer and my other lenses are Nikon's 18-200mm f5.6, 50mm f1.8 and 24-85mm f3.5. I also have a Sigma APO 300mm f4 with a 1.4x teleconverter.

I am excited to have found Flickr and the wonderful members that provide us with such great support.
