Under the encouragement of my boyfriend at the time, I purchased a Diana camera in Fukuoka, Japan. I had fun spending two weeks testing out my new toy, although the first sets were not so great. I am now enjoying testing it out in my own backyard. I am by no means a "photographer" in the dictionary sense, but I do love taking photos and would like to learn more about the camera. These are just some that I'd like to share with others and try and receive some comments as to how people respond to these images. Some are quite recent, taken with the said Diana. Others are scanned photos of old memories I have recently rediscovered hidden away in the treasures of old storage boxes. Either way, the emotion with which one shoots a photo is quite different from what the viewer sees and feels. So, as they say in Japan, "どうぞおねがいします" Go ahead, please.

Fast forward two years later, I have not taken many photos with the Diana. However, I am enjoying taking more and more photos, both with digital cameras and print cameras. I want to start updating more regularly, but for now, these will do.
