I grew up in Sussex, led a sheltered life, discovered morris dancing and alcohol and it all went downhill from there.

I did a degree in Illustration at Falmouth and worked freelance for a few years, doing anything from children's books and theatre design to painting pub signs. Then I decided that hitting bits of metal and playing with rubies and sapphires was more fun. I've never considered myself a photographer, but my work has always relied on photographs for reference etc, and I've only just started to explore them as an art form in their own right.
