I live in South West Nova Scotia. I have 3 teenage children. My oldest Jory, is away in PEI attending Holland College in the welding program. He is doing really well in this program and got a job offer at the ship yard there. I am very proud of him. I miss him very much. My oldest daughter Larissa is the jock of the family. She eats. breathes, sleeps and of course plays sports. She is ever glad that hockey is starting, too much of a break between soccer and hockey. My youngest Michaela is in love with horses. She takes lessons once a week and that is not enough for her. She is trying to convince us that we need a horse.
Their dad, my ball and chain or rather I am his ball and chain is a lobster fisherman. This is the main industry in south west Nova Scotia. He also plays hockey and likes to watch his girls with their sports. He also coached hockey and baseball for 10 years when Jory was playing. He had just taken a course also at Holland College in PEI. In the marine program. M.E.D. 1 & 2 What ever that means. I guess I am going to have 2 educated men here :) Michael also has the patience with my new found obsession, photography. It isn't new found, I finally bought a dslr. He likes to go out with me to shoot landscape. I think that he loses patience with me sometimes but he says that he doesn't but the shadows of him with his hand on his hip in some of my shots tell me different. I can also hear the sighs to :)
I own and operate a home based engraving and embroidery business. That has it's moments :)
I also enjoy doing crafts; knitting, quilting, traditional rug hooking. But that is kinda going by the wayside since the dlsr purchase.
I started a blog, check it out :)
