SF Bay Area based hobbyist. Love Flickr for sense of community and inspiration. I love the process of film. Specifically, the way it makes me slow down and really think about composition. I'm romantic enough to believe film images look more organic and just feel more genuine. I'm not sure it's still true, but I like to believe it. This year, I want to gain more experience with portraiture. I really enjoy getting to know a subject and trying to capture their personality on camera. I take a ton of travel snaps with my Sony RX100. I'm also a video enthusiast who's looking forward to the Sony A7iii. Some of the images I've posted on Flickr have no post work (either because I didn't have time, or because they didn't need it). Where I've tweaked in Photoshop, I've noted.
