Aka "happy_snapping"

Ive decided to change my screen name in sync with my upgrade to a pro account (for Christmas!) and upgrade to SLR.

Learnt on a Fuji s6500fd, now have aquired a Canon 40D, Canon 50mm f1.8 lens and a Sigma 400mm f5.6 lens. Saving money for a 100mm f2.8 macro lens, wide angle lens and speedlite. I shoot only prime lenses, so hence the new screen name. I'm not against zoom lenses or anything, but it's panned out that way so I might as well keep it up! I still have a lot of skills to aquire in photography particularly since I've been doing bird photography.

I mainly do nature and landscape photography. Particularly like 1;1 macros of insects, close-ups of animals, macros in general, weather photos, twilight landscape shots. Birds are a great challenge to shoot.
