Welcome! My photostream is dedicated to American Plastic Bricks, in particular the older type that I played with as a kid. I had a small set back then, and always dreamed of having enough bricks to build all the models shown in the 1953 instruction manual. Thanks to eBay, my dream eventually came true!
In building these models, I chose the most pristine bricks, accessories and roofing pieces in my collection. As per the instructions, I made sure that the brick-divisions within each block alternated correctly with the bricks below.
In my photos, I tried to duplicate the pictures in the manual, and added some extra shots. The lighting was reflected sunlight through windows. The camera was a Canon point-and-shoot from 2008. The resolution wasn't the highest, but I believe these are the best example images of these building models on the Internet.
Enjoy!

It is nice to see another person like me who is having a go at a second childhood, at least a little anyway. Raymond makes excellent models with American Plastic Bricks and he remembers things from a few years before my personal experience with APB. So far, Raymond is also building closer to the original designs than I do. In my buildings, I tend to use shortcuts when they are easier. For example, I might use a double or triple brick instead of two or three singles. Raymonds models will show folks how to build more accurately if only one set is available to build with. We are also having fun working together to figure out the "History of Bricks".
