I'm addicted to textiles especially yarn. I took up crochet seriously at the end of summer 2007 when I got married, quit smoking cigarettes and started a new job in the span of three weeks. My husband is tolerant of the new addiction as long as I do not start the old one again. Most of the items I make I give away to friends, acquaintances, family members and strangers. My favorite thing to do with scrap yarn is to crochet tree cozies and give them to my friend Jay who installs them for me.
