I have been sewing since I was three years old (it began with two square of fabric, sewn together with some holes as a Barbie shirt!) My dad is a comic book artist and I have always been encouraged to express everything I can through art. My family is amazing. I live in a basement, a finished one, but it's still a basement. My studio resides in this basement.

My cats crawl into the ceiling of the basement and wake me up by meowing and scratching around. It is not fun.

My main influences for fiber art are the two amazing girls Rachel-Marie (knittydirtygirl.etsy.com) and Candice (wovenexpressions.etsy.com) They both have taught me a multitude of skills including spinning and felting.

I went to art school for photography for two years, but I am allergic (severely) to the chemicals. I am now studying psychology and working as a Life Enrichment aid in a nursing home!

So...

full time student, part time worker, full time crafter, full time girlfriend.... it's a busy life.
