Like most average Banglorean, I am in the IT sector (since 2001) specializing in software support and professional services delivery. My first DSLR was a 2010 make Canon 550D APS-C format body paired with a 18-200mm EOS lens, mostly the dial doing its duty between the A and T modes. Suffice to say, not much to write home about but it got me started on the basics. Early 2020, I did my first serious trek to Kumar Parvatha peak in the Western Ghats of Karnataka and have since followed that up with many moderate to difficult level treks in the South and Eastern parts of India. Wanting to capture the memories of these adventures, I picked up the Panasonic G9 MFT body in late 2020, primarily for its compact body (you want your gear as light as possible esp. if you have to haul it above altitudes of 15K+ ft.) and ability to deliver some amazing photographs in 'fair weather'. So all the pictures in my gallery are from this workhorse. My go to lens for landscape is the versatile and capable LUMIX 12-35MM F/2.8 II.

I chose the Flickr platform to showcase my work to fellow landscape photographers, hoping to learn from their work and eventually take better photographs. So, if you happen to glance at my gallery or photograph, do drop in your thoughts. I welcome your feedback, critical or otherwise. Currently I am focused on honing my composition and editing skills, so any tip or advice would be greatly appreciated.
