I am a retired psychiatric nurse who loves looking at landscapes, birds, wild animals and pets, and all other things beautiful and appealing. These give me a lot of pleasure just to observe, also to try and capture in pencils or paint. I also enjoy good photos, which can capture the essence of a lovely view. My friends share my interests and we meet in a small informal art group, sometimes we go out to paint in the countryside. I live with my son, and we have a very good relationship and companionship. I also belong to a more formal art club, and take workshops a couple of times a year
