I was interested in photography about twenty years ago using a film camera, but drifted away from it eventually when I wasn't making much progress with my photos.

In Nov 2007 I became interested in photography again as a result of having a mobile phone which could take photos. It was great to be taking shots again, but the detail was lacking and I made the move to buy my Nikon D80. What a difference from film to be able to see your shots so quickly and learn from them.

Been tempted, like others, to progress to the D300, but managing to resist and concentrate on the photography with my D80. Have a Nikkor 18-70mm, Nikkor 70-300mmVR , a Sigma 10-20mm and a Nikkor 50mm 1.4D.
