Photography has been a hobby of mine for a long time.

I love photographing nature, wildlife, aviation. and just about anything else that gets in front of my lens.

Flickr has allowed me to share with others, a passion I've had for over thirty years. Photography is many things to many people, weather an art form or just a way to document something, no mater what the subject is. For me it's several things. It's been a way of preserving something that I wish to remember or observe and enjoy time and again. Photography is not just looking at images, it's an experience to be shared... a way of communicating. Quality is subjective. An image can be technical, artistic, inspirational, or any mixture of these. I enjoy what inspires me. There are so many wonderful images out there to be shared and inspired by. I learn about things I have never seen or places I have never been. This is my connection. The eye behind the lens is what maters. The camera is just a tool.

There are only so many ways we can express what we feel about an image we may comment on. After a while, some may think my comments sound redundant. I comment on an image because I enjoy how it makes me feel. I feel privileged to be invited to that place behind your camera... see things through your eyes. I learn so much, and enjoy so often. And yes... I do get excited! Please forgive me if I miss thanking you for your visits, comments, and faves, but I really do appreciate everything. Especially the visits!
