Insatiable curiosity & visionary are great characteristics for a photographer to posses. Where the novice eye sees “everyday life” I see innovative images. For as long as I can remember I’ve seen things photographically. When I was young I can remember watching the sunlight stream through the window. I would watch the light dance in the room; casting its reflections on the furniture, the floor, and the walls and observe the way the dust danced in the light. This keen sense of observation led me to see how light changes throughout the day, from the soft blush in the morning, to the harsh noon day sun to the warm, sensuous afternoon light. The changing light elicits a unique mood. With my camera, like a painter with his brush, I capture that specific moment when the subject and light come together. I preserve the essence of the moment.

My pictures tell a story. They transport you; to a certain place, time or event in your life. The connection is immediate. I get to the heart of the subject. My motivation is to make a bond with your five senses. You feel the sand on your feet, the smell in the air; sense the warmth of the sun, or hear the notes being played on an instrument. It’s as I see it.

A photographer who is making this "hobby" into a full time career. Like AmEx - I never leave home without my D200. You always remember the pictures you DIDN'T get because the camera was at home.
