It has been fun being a part of the Oak Park Photo Club for several years. Between that club and Flickr I am seeing more and more what good pictures look like. Of course that can lead to being less satisfied with your own pictures, but it does help me get better and better. I wish I had more time for pictures and Flickr, but real life often beckons.
