I'm a journalist and "casual" amateur photographer with special interests in Scotland & Ireland, Nova Scotia, the Eastern Shore of Maryland, boating and kayaking.

Some of the older photos in my stream were taken with a 35mm camera back in the 1990s and early in this decade. Since about 2002 I've been using a Canon SureShot digital camera. Nothing fancy - as you can see!
