heard of flickr from a friend and decided to have a look... and have found it to be a very good place to gain inspiration and try my hand at photography AGAIN...i shoot photos at random ... just about anywhere... and i also like to comment on photos from all the other members on here. ..and having a great time doing it.... and oh yes, if u dropped by to comment...thank you!

A D40 is still a very good camera in 2010. that is, if you can find one for around $250-300. An 18-70mm AFS lens( only found used now)+ D40 is a very potent combo that is likely to give you stunning results that you expect from a DSLR. In my experience, this combo gives the best image quality per dollar of any DX format combo to date.
A D90 or a D40 will give you great results straight out of the camera without messing with any settings.
Other DSLR's will need some patience and learning.I have learnt this from ownership experience of several DSLR's. Hope this helps you in choosing yours.
