I'm not too religious but the things that do surprise me are in the ordinariness of our daily lives. It has been a revealation to meet so many photographers on Flickr with such a great eye for moments of transcendance.

 

My name can be found in a poem by Seamus Heaney called Station Island. A spanish monk gives him the penance of translating something from John of the Cross "although it is the night " and the Monk told him to read poems as prayers.
