I'm having a wonderful time taking pictures and availing myself of the second chance processing allows. Furthermore, I greatly enjoy looking at the the often amazing images of my photographic betters on Flickr, some of whose photos are included among my favorites.

I don't feel constrained to simply record how a scene looks at any given moment. Besides, others can much more successfully serve as the photographers of record, so to speak. I attempt to make a scene more interesting and, by employing a broad definition of beauty, more beautiful. Moreover, I strive to display a reasonable amount of variety.

Because most of my photographs are taken of or at least from my yard, I've had to search harder and harder to find fresh images, often resulting in less representational shots.
