I became interested in photography while I was in high school and helped with the year book staff. However, in the last almost 20 years I haven't done much picture taking until my wife got me hooked on flickr. She got started taking pictures and just wouldn't stop!! She almost put me in the poor house with all of the film she took, so I persuaded her to go digital on a D50. After a bumpy start, and a lot of arm twisting, she gave digital a fair chance and has loved it ever since. She takes wonderful photos by the way. Seeing how much she enjoyed it, I thought that what better way to spend some time and relaxation with her by getting back into shooting some pics myself. So I upgraded her to the D80 and took over her D50. While I'm not near the caliber of photos she takes, I still enjoy sharing the appreciation that she has for God's beautiful creations.
