i only created this account because, quite accidentally, i found myself in the front ranks at REM's 2008 tour-opening show at Deer Lake Park in Burnaby, BC. it wasn't an accident that i was at the show -- they're my favorite band, and have been for years and years -- but it was surprising that i wound up that close to the stage. so i took some photos, and a few of them actually turned out properly exposed. here they are; thank you for looking at them. and a big THANK YOU to REM for writing the soundtrack to my adult life.
