It is a great delight to get to communicate with photographers not just from all over the United States, where I live, but from all over the world. (I am afraid I don't remember much of the Italian I learned in college -- but cerchero di fare del mio meglio.)

Part of the reason I ended up with an SLR camera in the first place (Nikon D80) is that I was inspired by the beautiful photographs on 101 Cookbooks and Gluten-Free Girl. Now that I'm on Flickr, I am inspired every day by the amazing images people post.

I especially enjoy shooting in natural light with my 50mm 1.8 lens, and I'm crazy about photos with shallow depth of field. There are also a handful of images in my photostream that were taken with a Canon PowerShot SD 990 -- good for on-the-go.
