Former U.S. Navy retiree now currently residing back in my home state of Hawaii on the beautiful island of Kauai. Our family tries each summer to travel somewhere different to give our now-teenaged son an opportunity to experience different cultures and experiences that he wouldn't otherwise have at home in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
