I have nearly always liked photography, but just didn't know it!! I loved to take random snapshots with the 110 camera my mother got me for my 16th birthday! My next camera was a point and shoot Vivitar that my first husband got me for a Valentine's day gift. I used it for a long time taking photos of my daughter and random things, just getting the moment. Then about 2002 or 2003, I bought myself a very basic Kodak Easy Share camera only about 2 MP, then got a better version, about 4 MP, then a third I think was about 6 to 8 MP. Then about 2006 I got my Canon Powershot A650 IS. About a year or so ago I took that a step further and got a Canon T3 Rebel. Still learning it and still use my trusty A650 until I can learn the ins and outs of my newer camera.

Scrapbooking and digital cameras opened up the world of photography for me! I have learned so much and still learning!

I used to be very opposed to photo editing programs, but have had to step back from that, as I like to transform some of my images to create a work of art!! I appreciate everyone's art!! No matter if you are the only one who likes it, put it out there! I guarantee somebody will come along who enjoys it just as much as you!!

I am a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, crafter, and photographer. Thank you for letting me share the world with you as I see it through the lens of a camera!!

If you wish to use my photos in any way, please do not hesitate to contact me. I would be flattered and it would be a pleasure to help!

UPDATE: If you follow me, please do not be offended if I do not follow you back. I am not in a contest to get followers to up my chances for Explore. I share my images, if I get an Explore that is wonderful. I fave images that speak to me, not just willy-nilly. I sincerely hope that anyone who follows me likes my images and are not just trying to get more faves and comments to get on Explore. That is not what I want my Flickr experience to be about. Thank you.
