"Of course, there will always be those who look only at technique, who ask "how," while others of a more curious nature will ask "why." Personally, I have always preferred inspiration to information."

"I think abstracts reduce photography to it's purest base--composition. I can snap sunsets or sleeping hobos until doomsday and I will never shoot anything that hasn't been done a thousand times already".

There are many photographers today who try to stimulate our minds and consciousness with certain aspects of everyday living. I have been fortunate enough not only to meet John and see his work, but to talk to a man who is concerned about life today. The collection of work that John displays in his portfolio reflect his vast interests and takes us on an adventure through different realities; accentuated by his own personal style of light, colour and mood. His love of life overflows into his work and he has the ability to interact with all kinds of people from celebrities to very ordinary people; some of which many of us would disregard because of their unfortunate circumstances. John has time for everyone and has immense passion for his work. I highly recommend a viewing of John’s collection of photographs, there is something to interest everyone.
