I collect photographs in three categories:

 

1) Humerous, unusual, or downright strange photos. These usually have a caption applied to them and are displayed in my cubicle at work.

 

2) Beautiful, nostalgic, or touching photographs.

 

3) Identifiable photographs. My wife and I seek the photo subject in census records and historical archives. We trace their lineage forward and back in the interest of finding a living descendant. The goal is to return the family photograph to a descendant.
