Moved to a five bedroom Victorian terraced house which needs everything to be renovated, in August 2007.

We have four young children so it is a tight balance between having what we would like about us, and keeping some things for convenience ...such as tatty furniture and carpets (because these things can't be ruined !).

We are planning an extension at the back of the house with a view to the style of Aalto, a blend of simplicity, relaxed Modernism and also embracing the unstructured large garden.

I'm self employed.
