Hello- I am a native Californian. l grew up in the Central Valley on a diversified dairy farm--that meant being part of the activities such as caring and feeding for

calves, helping plant, hoe, and pick strawberries, walnuts, and vegetables in the summer.

After college I taught elementary school in San Carlos, CA and then taught four years abroad with the Department of Defense Schools. Two years in Germany,

a year at Clark AFB in the Philippines, and a year in Japan near Tokyo. The many opportunities to travel has given me opportunities to marvel at the many

wonderful people and places all over the world. Now, I've been retired now for 23 years but still active in managing inherited farm properties in the Central

Valley where I grow almonds and also San Benito County where land is leased out. d

My days are busy with gardening, keeping up with paperwork and technology! I enjoy reading, taking photos and admiring the many works here
