The Krazy Kake Baker crew is comprised of a tight creative family. Kim Kelly and Kris Julius head up this bunch with their diverse creative talents.

The Builder

Kris Julius is a father, graphic designer, artist and cake fanatic. With his creative roots dating back to his childhood, Kris came to the world of cakes through the world of scouts.

Years ago a Cub Scout ‘Dad-Lad’ cake baking contest started Kris off on a creative edible quest. Years later, his own son, Kooper renewed the ovens of creativity when they too started to compete in the ‘Dad-Lad’ events.

From these crumbs of inspiration Kris has leveraged his other talents into a creative factory of cakes. He revels in the creative challenges of edible art, always looking for new ways to expand the craft.

The Baker

Kim Kelly is the real glue that holds this bunch together. Or should we say the maker of the glue that holds everything together.

Just as all construction needs a good foundation, our cakes need building blocks to start with. This is Kim’s specialty.

As the one everyone asked to make a cake, cookies or even the occasional pie, Kim honed her baking skills.

Not quite knowing what she was getting into, she and her two joined Kris and his and together they’re taking cake to new creative heights.

The Fondant Maker

Yes, we make our own fondant icing. Why? Well… we didn’t like the way the other stuff tasted.

Katie Kelly, the oldest of the Kelly brood has joined our team to help out in one of the most demanding chores. What once started out as fun, has turned into a labor of love.

Katie creates our fondant on an “as needed” basis. Our arms and your taste buds thank her!
