Since 1988 Baumgartner Race Cars has been committed to offering the highest quality chassis, components and services to the drag racing community.

In our 18 years of business, Baumgartner Race Cars has expanded from our original 1800 sq. ft. building to our current 8000 sq. ft. facility in Hallsville, Missouri. The latest expansion in January of 2000 was the result of our acquisition of Chassis Components Corporation, the former business of legendary top fuel chassis builder, the late Al Swindahl.

The merging of Chassis Components Corporation and Baumgartner Race Cars has allowed us to work from one of the most successful baselines in top fuel drag racing history.

Our design department utilizes the latest in CAD/CAM software. From simple 2D wireframe drawings to 3D parasolid models and assemblies, we have the ability to design top fuel and funny car chassis and parts that will be integrated together before the job ever hits the shop floor.

To further compliment this process, we have also invested in CNC machining technology. Having our own in house CNC equipment allows us to manufacture an inventory of high quality, close tolerance parts that fit time after time.

Our chassis shop is fully outfitted with all of the necessary tools and equipment to produce award winning race cars under one roof. From the smallest prototype part to complete rolling cars, we do it all.
