I've been interested in photography since I was in high school back in the mid-1960s. First I played around with chemicals in a dark room with a high school friend, but then moved on to better things as I got older and took a class presented by some traveling Nikon photographers after I got out of college. I then added some night-school classes while in my mid-20's to understand it all better. After that I was too busy with work and family to do much. However, since I've retired I've gotten much more serious about it, took another class at a local community college, and have bumped up my skill level a couple more notches. Still no professional expert, but I now have enough knowledge to feel like I can create images that I like enough to frame and hang on our walls at home…and occasionally give them as gifts to friends and relatives. Here are some of my favorite photos. I hope you like them as much as I do.
