A few years ago I was lucky enough to meet George and his wife Audrey at a conservation event near Ringwood. We were on adjacent tables promoting our own groups. I was amazed at his superb wildlife photography as well as his wildlife paintings and knowledge and love of nature. Neither of us were aware of each others nature reserves we represented and George decided to pay us a visit at Kinson Common with Audrey. They obviously fell in love with the site as they asked to join our group ! We have visted them at Slop Bog and have also seen what a superb reserve this is. George, Audrey along with son Mark have since added valuable records of the flora and fauna on Kinson Common as well as their photographs, many of which you can enjoy now on Flickr. I know that many people are amazed at George's knowledge. Thank you George :-)
