SLIM KHEZRI [well known as SLIM K] is an international, opinionated, openminded and well-experienced Artist in Music, Film (SAG eligible / IMDb Resume HERE ), Photography HERE , Art, Writing and more.

 

Aside from his many Talents, Slim is also fluent in German (native), Arabic (native), French, English and conversational Turkish.

 

Since his first major debut, on WDR (german national television) in the early 90's at the legendary saturday night show "Rudi Carrell Show", hosted by the late tv legend RUDI CARRELL (equivelant to the US. version of "Your Big Break", conceptionally similar to "American Idol") as MICHAEL JACKSON performing live "Billie Jean", nearly 16 million viewers watched the performance, that particular episode marked the 2nd most rated show through it's entire run.

   

Slim K proved afterwards to be unstoppable in the years that followed, performing on a dozen popular european tv shows ( "Kerner" (Sat.1), "Arabella" (Pro Sieben), "Gong Show" (RTL), "Klacket" (Canal 21 in Tunisia) ..just to name a few, as well major radio events (R.SH, ffn,), open air concerts, touring all over Europe (Sweden, Austria, Denmark, France, Netherlands etc..), Asia (India, Turkey etc..), Africa (Tunisia) and United States (Las Vegas, Los Angeles etc..).

 

Constantly performing and working alongside the greatest acts in the 90s such as Backstreet Boys, Dr Alban, Mark Owen (of Take That), Army of Lovers, Haddaway, DJ Bobo, N'Sync, Worlds Apart, Captain Hollywood etc... and last but not least Michael Jackson.

 

Slim Khezri was born on a sunny tuesday at 2.35 pm, July 18th sometime last century in Lübeck (Germany), 30 minutes away from Hamburg, Slim K is Tunisian native (north africa), raised in Timmendorfer Strand/ Lübeck (Germany) and Tunis/ Jendouba (Tunisia), lives today between a triangle of Los Angeles (USA), Hamburg/ Lübeck (Germany) and Tunis (Tunisia).

 

    

 

Today almost two decades of international experience, a number of collaborations in film and music (var. projects with bands and producers: Booya Music, Triage Music, Sarah Connor, DJs @ Work, Ayman and many more), Slim K's Resume evolved and grew impressively through the years, nowadays he is still going strong, doing what he does best and still pretty much busy as an actor, singer, writer and photographer in Los Angeles.

 

Slim K is strongly influenced in Music by the late 70s/80s Pop New Wave Funk Disco sound, defined by Duran Duran, Chic, Quincy Jones, Kajagoogoo, Queen, Depeche Mode, A-ha, Kraftwerk, George Michael, Roxy Music, The Police, Michael Jackson, Prince and as well from other genres such as Classical, Opera, Jazz, Swing, Rock, Electronic, Soul and R&B.

SLIM K 2008

 

2007 saw Slim K's involvement in going different directions in movies such as 'Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End' (feat. Johnny Depp), 'Charlie Wilson's War' (feat. Tom Hanks), 'YES MAN' (feat. Jim Carrey/Terence Stamp) and currently the controversial political drama 'ARTICLE 301' (set for release sometime 2008), starring Slim Khezri as a Patriotic Turkish killer, as well a number of music videos with KRS-One, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Tila Tequila.

 

Slim K appeared as well for the first time in 8 years as MICHAEL JACKSON in Japan's tv show GORO'S BAR, in Sep. of the same year, Slim K appeared for the first time in an Opera production, appearing as a Prisoner in Beethoven's FIDELIO at Los Angeles Opera. (general director PLACIDO DOMINGO)

 

Slim K is definitely on top of his game as he enters 2008 with yet another Opera appearance (Slim's 2nd time around) (Jan./ March '08) - playing a Venetian Sailor and Venetian Senator in Verdi's OTELLO at Los Angeles Opera (directed by John Cox).
