..Started traditional training in a dojo 1968 . ( American Kenpo ) also cross trained with Steve Stavroff ( one of the original first generation Black belts of Tae Kwon Do as it arrived to the United States.) Also the original Roughhouse Gym ( Karate-Do) and Praying Mantis Kung Fu with Bobby Alanis. Competitor through 70's united states karate champianships. Had the privilage to met and train with some of the early great's : Pat Burleson, Demetrius Havanus, Skipper Mullins ,Al Dacascus, Bill Wallace , Joe Lewis , and Chuck Norris...........just to name a few! Navy from 77- 81 and studied abroad which included certification in Filipino martial Arts and Southern Five Family Gung Fu. ..Founded " Weapons at Hand' traditional Martial Arts Academy in 1982 McAllen Texas and Northwest TaeKwonDo studio's 1994. .. There is a great deal more....but I'll leave on one last note! For over forty years I have been involved in Traditional Martial Arts. This has resulted in several world Champions and accredited recognition from some of the most respected governing bodies of Martial Arts in the world.
