I have enjoyed photography for about 40+ years. My first real camera was a 35mm Petri7 range finder camera. I would say that my first really good camera was a Pentax SV SLR. I took a lot of good pictures with it and a lot of really bad pictures also. The best picture I have ever taken was with this camera and a Pentax 105mm f2.8 lens. It was of my oldest daughter when she was about 3 years old. Natural light indoors. Magical moment!

Did my own darkroom B&W stuff for several years. Sold some pictures, but not near enough to pay for all the expense of the camera, film, chemicals and paper.

I love DIGITAL.
