Flickr certainly hasn't helped much with my procrastination issues… but I’m grateful to all of you, sentinel-photographers out there, for bringing back all these moments of beauty!

Linthesky has a remarkable eye with patterns, surfaces, textures and reflections which many other would miss. I'm always looking forward her new pictures.

"As of this writing, April 2007, linthesky has been a member of Flickr for only 4 months. But in that brief time she has established herself as a master of patterns and vibrant color. And from a relatively small number of photos posted in that time (less than 1,000) -- she's already had a high percentage selected for Flickr's "Explore" page. Linthesky has a sure sense of composition -- but also an engaging spirit which seeks out new things to see and do -- in life and in her photographic art. I found this reflected in her set titled "Under-appreciated pictures -- look again!" Just creating such a set proves her moxie. This woman knows what she's about. It's refreshing. Look closer, what's beautiful deserves a second, and a third viewing. Look deeply. Her sets reflect an interest in travel as well as artistic abstraction. You will enjoy her special fascination with man-made and architectural patterns, yet you will find, too, a strong appreciation of the natural world displayed in many of her shots. Personally, I've found her enthusiasm and faithfulness as a Flickr friend and contact both inspiring and instructive. Her photos reflect this warmth and vitality. She often makes adventurous choices for subjects, yet also has the knack for helping us see the every day in novel ways. I highly recommend visiting her pages. Once you do, you won't be able to stop coming back."
