I bought my first camera, an Eos Rebel G, in college when I was having so much fun in my photography class, I didn't want to wait for the camera's they provided to become available. Then I ended up being a lab assistant so I could keep using the darkroom, but as it turns out I was in the next to last class to learn to shoot with film.

I went digital a year ago, when the Rebel G developed a short, and it was almost as cheap to upgrade as repair.
