Growing up in a small islands nation of 1200 islands, I've always been touched by the beauty and colors of nature. The mixed race and culture of Maldives has cultivated in me interest in various art works and when it comes to photography, I am always reminded of the saying "a picture is worth a thousand words", and I religiously believe and adhere to it as truth.

My photography interest is mostly on nature, for its splendid combination of colors exhibited in flowers, butterflies, trees, sunsets, sunrise etc. Every nuance of the nature is part of our living and hence my style of photography of the nature is inspired by the intuitive impressions and intended towards capturing synchronic views for thematic expressions.

I joined flickr in 2008 and at that time I was using my sony ericsson 2 megapixel mobile phone to capture anything that caught my eyes interesting. End of December 2009 I got my first camera (Panasonic DMC LZ10) as a present and till todate I am using it.

Last but not least I would like to thank God for giving me a creative mind and wonderful eyes for photography.
