I was born in Vancouver, BC, Canada but moved to the dry interior when I was 8 years old. I grew up chasing birds, snakes, and dragon flies with my family and friends but only recently began to seriously study birds. Ironically I am a history major at UBCO but I am also a part-time bird-consultant (usually during the summer months). Most of these pictures are of birds but some are not! They were all taken with an old hand-me-down Nikon CoolPics, some "digi-binoced." Currently, all photos are from New Zealand where I am (also) currently on exchange.
