I live in Lancaster in the North West of England which gives me wonderful access to some superb countryside and coastline including Morecambe Bay, The Lakes and Yorkshire Dales as well as some more hidden parts of Lancashire. I also enjoy travelling and photographing other beautiful parts of the word especially the Alps and more recently the Pyrenees and Scotland.

For me, photography is a continuous journey of learning and in many ways it's not about the camera but the relationship with the landscape that is the most important thing to develop. Ever since my childhood I have had a deep appreciation of nature and love being immersed in wild landscapes.

My main commercial publishing outlet is through work produced for Northern Eye Books providing many images for their range of high quality 'Top 10' walking guides which are available to purchase from many outlets. I have been the lead contributing photographer for 7 titles.

My work has also been used commercially in calendars, books, museums and website designs. I have a particular love of the Alps and many of my best images are on display at the Gite de Belvedere in Argentiere, France. I was a Commended Photographer in the Landscape Photographer of the Year Award in 2013.

I am currently using a Canon 5D Mark 3 plus various professional 'L' series Lenses.
