THE CONFLUENCE: CREATI NG A LEGACY

In 1997 Trailnet organized a public/private collaboration to create a network of conservation, heritage and recreation resources around the confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers. At that time, there was almost no access to our Great Rivers. Now, more than 100 miles of trails link people to 11,000 acres of new public lands and several new river-focused museums and cultural sites in the heart of the bi-state St. Louis metropolitan area.
