I was born and raised in Springfield Illinois. I lived for 9 years in St. Louis. I am currently living in Springfield.

I like hiking, photography and travelling. I mostly like to travel to the national parks in the west. I've been to Glacier (probably my favorite), Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches and Mesa Verde.

I also like to visit the parks in Illinois.

I started taking pictures as a kid with a Kodak instamatic camera. I moved up to a Canon AE-1 which I used for over 20 years. A 10 or so years ago I went digital with a Canon 20D. Now I use a Canon R.
