Born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, beginning in Beaver County. My first camera was a Kodak Instamatic that used the 126 film cartridge. I bought it for 25 cents at a yard sale when I was visiting my grandmother. I used it almost constantly. One obscure influence convinced me to not carry a camera from my senior year of college until 1992, when I was 27 years old. From that time on, I've documented everything that seems important, and trivial, with photographs. 2008 was the acquisition of my first digital camera (a Canon 40D - slightly more than 25 cents) and the beginning of this flickr page.

These contents include family events, home improvements, travel to Germany and Austria (2016 and 2017) and both the familial and risque. I find these days that I'm almost taking photos faster than I keep the page updated. Follows the logic of why I could never keep up with a diary - but this is the closest example I have.

While I'm now firmly planted in Mercer County, where I grew up, and hope to show it off to its greatest advantage, I spent many years in the Delaware Valley (Philadelphia and suburbs) getting great perspectives on architecture and landscape there, too.
