I'm new to photography and love taking photos when I get the chance to travel, although have only had a very basic point and shoot camera until fairly recently. I now have a DSLR, but have a lot to learn! I especially like taking informal portraits.

I've been privileged to meet many people who live and work on plantation estates ( - the plantations, disturbing, living, structural relics of European colonial power - ) whilst doing a research project in Sri Lanka.
