I am a retired network manager for a major utility and after retirement, won a new job as a graphic artist for a large school district, so I’m in the midst of my second career as a graphic artist. My weekend vocation as a wedding and portrait photographer led to producing "photo art" which has taken off quite well. I have participated as an artist at local art shows. My piece called "da Cielo" won first place in digital photography at the Indian Wells Arts festival in 2007. I am also a participating artist, by invitation to the La Quinta Arts Festival (www.lqaf.com) in 2009-2012.
