Since retirement in October '05, I moved permanently to San Felipe, BCN, Mexico. a small fishing community on the Gulf of California (sometimes referred as the Sea of Cortez) which currently enjoys full employment for the local population due to an influx of 'Yanquis' moving here to build their retirement/vacation homes. My life is now simple and secure. In my professional life I went from a Seismologist to a public school teacher and later a professor of History at a Community College in Florida, USA. As a Seismologist I lived and travelled on every continent except Antarctica..during my last 5 1/2 years I lived and worked in Brazil based in Fortaleza and Itajai..a most beautiful and stunning country. Although most of the people are poor by 1st World standards...they are kind, benevolent and proud. They have class...all UPPER.
