BIOGRAPHY

In a small town filled with lakes and orchards, came an Artist into this world. Laura Marie Panozzo was born and raised in Laporte, Indiana in 1975. In 1993 Panozzo perused her Education in Chicago, Illinois at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Panozzo received many awards and scholarships including the Brown Scholarship In- House Award.

During her studies at the famous School of the Art Institute of Chicago, came the oppurtunity to study aboard. Panozzo choose to study in Florence, Italy. Compelled by the Italian Masters of Art and her own personal Italian heritage, Panozzo left America to pursue her craft in 1998.

Panozzo studied at S.A.C.I. International Art Studios in Florence. Life for the young artist, would soon bring great change and great success. Italy had proven to be the cultural force which would put Panozzo into an amazing International Career.

In 1998 Panozzo had her first International Exhibit, and remained in Florence until 2000, opening her own art studio. In 2001 Panozzo left Italy and set sail for Puerto Rico. She studied the art of Santos Sculpture and carving as well as becoming a Professor at El Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico in Santurce for three years. Panozzo exhibited her collections at the finest cultural art Galleries of the Caribbean.

In 2004 Panozzo returned to Florence, Italy where she studied the art of Venetian Mask Making, and opened ” Studio Panozzo”. In 2005 She returned to America , starting a family and starting a new page in the history of her career. In 2007 Panozzo began creating sculptures, and from those sculptures came collections. Panozzo now creates new sculptural and pictorial collections for galleries and design companies across the world.
