Now that I'm retired I am enjoying doing pretty much what I want. I have discovered a love for gardening, and have taken up old pastimes like knitting and sewing again. I am very active in the local amateur theatre group, writing scripts, directing and making costumes for our annual pantomime.

I'm hoping to have enough confidence to audition for a role in the next one - I used to love acting, dancing and singing - but that was a long time ago!

Meantime, I spend a lot of time in Donegal with my husband, Jack. This is when I want to photograph things most, as there is so much to see, and all of it beautiful.
