I've been taking photos since I was really quite small. Starting off with a Kodak Instamatic, moving on to an Olympus Trip, getting more serious with my Minolta X300, taking mainly slides and now that I turned 40 in 2008 I got my first DSLR. (A shiny lovely Canon 450D). I've probably taken more photos with the Canon now than all of the others put together.

I'm a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and at the moment design fork lift trucks for my sins.

I love music in particular rock, blues and indie. But anything will usually do.

I play acoustic and electric guitars (not at the same time) for relaxation when not taking photos.

Also like to do military history research in the winter months.
